在细菌学、病毒学及医学的权威期刊 Journal of bacteriology, Journal of Virology, Emerging Infectious Diseases，EBio Medicine等期刊发表sci论文30余篇，中文核心30余篇。课题组与中国疾病预防控制中心CDC合作，首次在健康人携带的沙门氏菌中找到mcr-1基因的突变体，被国外媒体及新华社报导。课题组拥有农业、食品来源的微生物种质资源10000余株（益生菌、工业菌株及噬菌体等），具有完善的培养组学、菌种分类鉴定、测序（二代+三代）+质谱+光谱及分析平台，发现并命名的细菌新种30多种。
